Elder Cone was my first senior companion in Barcelona. I remember that we would go to the top floor of the apartment buildings and would work our way down knocking on doors for hours. One time we got to the bottom of a building after having had doors slammed on our faces, I was feeling so discouraged that I felt like I wanted to cry and Elder Cone put his arm around my shoulders, and with a big smile he said: “Isn’t this great… I love this work!”. We did find and taught, Ramón Teixido Pla and he was baptized on July 30th, 1973. Later on August 30, Elder Cone was transferred to Malaga and Elder Harold D. Davis became my second senior companion.
